Popcorn Update

Posted on Aug 19 2022 - 12:01am

Please remember that our second popcorn order deadline is THIS SUNDAY August 21.  We ask that all scouts sell $210 worth of popcorn to cover their scout's second dues payment.  Most scouts are able to cover this goal with at least one booth shift and/or personal sales.  If you have already collected orders, please email them to jpduenas@yahoo.com .  (Please do not text orders; I need to be able to print them out.) We are currently sold out of Cheese, Kettle Corn, and Mint Chocolate Chip stock.  This means that these items will not be available until the second week of September when the second order arrives. All other items are currently available.(A digital copy of the order form is attached below.) We have already had our August Show and Sell booth.  We have one booth scheduled in September and two in October.  If you would like for me to add a booth in August so you can participate in a booth sale BEFORE school starts up, please email  or text Pam to let me know of your interest.  If you need to know your scout's online code, please email or text this request as well. Let's Scout On!

Camp Card Sales

Posted on Jun 12 2022 - 9:44am

Camp Card Sales are starting to wind down.  In case you are wondering what camp cards are, they are coupon cards which provide local print coupons as well as national, digital coupon codes which can be redeemed home or away (out of area friends and family can use the codes.)  Each card is $10.  Scouts receive credit for 50% of the total sale of every card.  (Popcorn is 30-40%. This means you would need to sell fewer camp cards to get the same sales benefit for the pack and your scout.)  Cards are still available in counts of ten.  If you have already requested camp cards, June 12th Pack Meeting is the last in person group opportunity to return unsold cards or money or to get more cards as needed.  All cards must be paid for or returned by the end of June.  Please contact Pam Duenas with any questions or to arrange card/money transfers by cell 240-434-1180 or email jpduenas@yahoo.com.

BSA Medical Forms part A and B are due

Posted on May 6 2022 - 9:14am

Everyone attending events (whether a Scout, parent, or sibling) must have BSA Medical Form parts A and B on file with the Pack. You do Not have to have a Doctor complete the form (that is part C).  BSA requires up to date Tetanus shots due to typical Scout activities (so a shot record is required. Den leaders and Campout Planners need to be aware of ALLERGIES. As Cub Scouts, Parents generally provide medication for their own scouts. (At the Troop level, a designated Adult Leader performs this service at campouts.)  Once medical forms are complete it is a good idea to maintain a digital copy of the forms so you can resubmit/reuse for Summer Twilight Camp, the Fall Campout, etc.  We ask you please attach a recent photo of your Scout to the medical form for our records as well.
