Pack Hike on January 17th

Posted on Jan 8 2026 - 6:28pm

Our Pack Hiking Coordinator, Shelly, has set up a fun hike for the Pack on Sunday, January 17th at Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge! RSVP Now!

The meeting time is 10:30am and it will last for 1-2 hours. There will be a ranger guided hike and binoculars provided for all attending! (But feel free to bring your own binoculars if you have them!) Please RSVP on the calendar event so we can provide numbers to the Ranger by this Sunday, January 11th. Every scout is required to participate in at least one hike to earn their rank. Ask your den leader what your Cub Scout should focus on to complete their hiking requirement!

Pinewood Derby Build Day!!!

Posted on Jan 3 2026 - 10:51am

Parents,

If you have power tools that can come to a meeting, please help!

To help with building pinewood derby cars we will be meeting in the church parking lot at 4pm on January 25th. I will bring a band saw and some sandpaper to help the kids make cars. One band saw will not be enough though, so please contact Josh Merdes (814-571-6810) if you have any power tools that can be used to help out. Per scouting policy, and common sense, cubs will NOT be allowed to use power tools. Once I get ahold of district rules I will post them so we are all in compliance.

Shoe Collection and Scout Sunday

Posted on Jan 1 2026 - 3:18pm

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a relaxing winter break. There are no meetings this Sunday. Please continue to collect those shoes! We are not even halfway to our goal yet. We will be collecting through January.
February 8th is Scout Sunday. Our Pack has been invited to help with the 10:30am service at St Thomas. If your Cub Scout would like to participate (being an usher, carrying in the Pack flag or helping with the gifts) please RSVP to the event on the calendar and comment what your scout would like to help with!
