Good Morning Pack Parents! We are looking to identify adults who will lead/volunteer for the next year.  At this time we need to identify a Pack Treasurer and a Popcorn Kernel to step up immediately.  This can be a single person or a pair of people for each position who are interested in doing the work to keep our pack Scouting On!  Training for new Popcorn Kernels will be held in person and virtually May 25.  There will also be training sessions June 7 and June 12.  Popcorn is our main fundraiser.  This year Tidewater Council is organizing Show and Sell locations which units can sign up to man which makes this an easier task than in years past.  If interested, please contact Pam Duenas for details at jpduenas@yahoo.com or 240-434-1180.

Books needed

Posted on May 7 2021 - 5:04am

We are doing a BOOK DRIVE for local little Free Libraries in Chesapeake as we kick off our Summer of Service! This non-profit provides free take-a-book/return-a-book resources. We are looking for new or gently used books of any kind: children's books, adolescent literature, fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, just about anything.

Trash the Trash Day

Posted on Apr 29 2021 - 11:16pm

May 1 is Trash the Trash Day!  Pack 901 is participating with other Scout units from around the Globe!  This activity can be done as family units.  It is not meant to be done alone.  (Where's your buddy?) The goal is for each scout to have a friend or family member help them clean up at least 1 kilogram or 2.2lbs of trash.  Please send us a quick email or text with who participated for how long and how many kilos of trash you collected.  You can also feel free to make a post with this information in our FB Group.  Below are a couple of worksheets to help you make the clean up more fun if you would like to print them out! If May 1 doesn't work for you please try to get us the information for this weekend or let us know when you will be participating.  Thanks!
